What are Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS)?
It is a type of medicine used to relieve pain and inflammation. They are commonly used for many ailments.
Are all NSAIDs same?
Yes and No. The chemical pathway of which it interacts with is the same however they work in different ways.
Are NSAIDS safe?
Yes and No.
If you have a certain medical conditions such as hypertension, kidney or stomach problem, one should avoid the use of NSAIDS or use them judiciously with doctor’s order.
Most often, doctors prescribe drugs that are gastrointestinal protective together with NSAIDS as they can damage the stomach and the intestine.
